Finally Miguel hosted a party at his place. He spent the whole day doing earrings and cleaning the house to have everything ready by 8pm. It was lots of work but it was worthwhile the effort.

All the invited showed up eventually and aparently they all had a good time. Miguel had to pick up Shawn at home and Brian from work. Once Brian was all finished up at IHOP, after Miguel even volunteered himself to help clean up sweeping the floors, we headed to Metrotown to pick up Kyla. She didn't make it and later on we found out she was caught up doing counseling work for a friend. Later on, around 1:30am, Brian called her and we picked her up at her place.

Miguel cooked a couple of pizzas and the guest devoured them in no time.

Later on, we all watched Torrente 2 and had a few laughs. When Brian and Steve went to bed, Shawn, Kyla and myself kept on playing minigolf for the entire night. We even got to see the sun raising in the morning, it was beautiful.

It was nice to have everybody for the party. I was ready for some more hard core action but it turned out to be a low key event. No glasses were broken, nobody got sick and puked the carpet, no shots, no police, all and all a perfectly canadian party.

Thanks to Sangeeta and Farhad for returning the movies and to Steve for taking care of the guest while I was away picking up people.
